Banking and financial sector requires very high ethical standards compared to other businesses, as they work to reach all levels of society and protect the trust, capital and personal information of their customers. Therefore, we define the ethical norms of employees and managers at the “Corporate governance code” approved by the Board of Directors of Golomt Bank and employees at all levels follow the code of conduct in their daily works.
For Golomt Bank, in order to implement the code of conduct in all branches and units, each unit needs to appoint an ethics representative within the framework of the “Compliance policy” and as of today, more than 160 ethics representatives have been appointed and are responsible for the internal control of their units. Through ethical representatives, we monitor and evaluate the implementation of ethical standards and aim to create a workplace without conflicts of interest.
We have pursued and implemented these basic principles in our operations, have strived to invest for ethical and correct businesses that do not have a negative impact on the environment. In the future, we will continue to improve the implementation of business ethical standards and keep the trust of our customers, colleagues, partners and focus on expanding long-term cooperation on the basis of trust.
Golomt Bank supports sustainable development and adheres to business ethics.
