Within the framework of the 13th ministerial meeting of the World Trade Organization, The World Trade Organization, the International Trade Centre and the Government of the United Arab Emirates jointly organized the high-level meeting “She Trades Summit 2024″ aimed at supporting women entrepreneurs in the international business and trade market” in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates on 24th and 25th of February, 2024.
Golomt Bank is the first representative of Mongolian banking and financial sector in this high-level meeting which was attended by more than 200 women entrepreneurs and women-supporting companies and government representatives from 60 countries. In addition to Golomt Bank, the leaders of Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, TESO Group, Hanbogd Cashmere LLC, and She Trades HUB were invited to the summit.
In this event, the organizers emphasized the importance of cooperation between the government and the private sector to increase the financial access of women entrepreneurs and announced the official opening of Women Exporters in the Digital Economy fund.
Also, during the event, Golomt Bank and “SheTrades Hub Mongolia” under the National Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Mongolia held meetings with representatives of ABSA Bank of the Republic of Kenya, CIBC Caribbean Bank, Small and Medium Enterprises Support Fund of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh and International Trade Center and agreed to cooperate developing new financial products for women entrepreneurs.
As part of our policy to ensure gender equality and support women entrepreneurs, Golomt Bank will regularly initiate implementing projects and programs to introduce international good practices and expand cooperation.
